Non-rising stem gate valve Z45H is also called rotary rod gate valve (also called non-rising wedged gate valve). The stem nut is located on the gate, and the handwheel rotates the stem to rotate and lift the gate. Usually there is a trapezoidal thread at the bottom of the stem. Having got through the thread at the bottom of the valve and the guide groove on the disc, the rotary motion is changed into linear motion, that is, the operating torque is changed into operating thrust. When the valve is opened, the flow path is clear when the gate lift height is equal to 1:1 valve size, but this position cannot be monitored during operation. In actual use, the vertex of the stem as a mark, that is, the position of not moving, as its full open position. In consideration of the temperature changes,leading to locking phenomenon, usually open to the top position, and then back 1/2~1 turn, as the position of the fully open valve. Therefore, the full open position of the valve is determined by the position of the gate (i.e. stroke).

1,The steering wheel and the valve stem are connected together and relatively motionless when the non-rising stem valve is on and off. It is opened and closed by turning the valve stem at a fixed point to drive the valve disc upward and lower the gate.

2. Its' lifting screw only rotates and never moves upwards and downwards. Only a rod is exposed, and the nut is fixed on the gate plate.The nuts are fixed to the gate, which is lifted by rotation of the screw, no visible door frame.

3. There is not visible screw rod, to the contrary, the rising stem flange gate valve can see it.
