How To See The Switch Of A Manual Butterfly Valve
The manual butterfly valve mainly consists of parts such as valve body, valve stem, disc, sealing ring, transmission mechanism, and handle, and belongs to a 90 degree shut-off valve. When using, use the handle to move the disc, so that the disc coincides or is perpendicular to the centerline of the valve body channel, in order to achieve the function of fully opening or closing the pipeline. How to view the switch of a manual butterfly valve is the most basic skill. Do you know how to view it?
1. Firstly, observe the angle relationship between the handle and the centerline of the valve body pipeline:
The handle is perpendicular to the centerline of the valve body pipeline, indicating that the butterfly valve is in a fully closed state. On the contrary, if the handle coincides with the centerline of the valve body pipeline, it indicates that the butterfly valve is in a fully open state
2. Opening status:
The angle between the handle and the centerline of the valve body pipeline is different, indicating that the butterfly valve is in a transitional state of opening and closing. According to the above numbers, the opening size of the valve is controlled. The larger the number, the greater the opening.
