What is the difference between fluorine lined butterfly valves and rubber lined butterfly valves
The two types of valves are different and cannot be interchanged for the following reasons:
1. The key difference between rubber lined butterfly valves and fluorine lined butterfly valves is the material of the lining. Rubber refers to nitrile rubber or Buna rubber, which is elastic and suitable for general media such as water and oil, but the temperature should not be too high. Fluorine is either PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or fluororubber, which is relatively hard and prone to wear and tear. It is suitable for corrosive media and can withstand temperatures higher than nitrile rubber and nitrile rubber.
2. The structure of rubber lined wafer butterfly valves and fluorine lined wafer butterfly valves is the same, and the difference between the two is only limited to the material of the valve seat sealing surface, one is ordinary rubber and the other is fluorine rubber.
3. The rubber lined flange butterfly valve and the fluorine lined flange butterfly valve not only have different sealing materials for the valve seat, but also have undergone structural changes
